There are so many examples of service during the holiday season. Shovelling a neighbor’s driveway is one example. Opening a door for an elderly senior. Saying a kind word to encourage others. To be financially charitable through tithes at your church, community or online charity are great ways of service in this holiday season. I don’t know about you but I take more joy in giving at Christmas time for family and friends and you all know who you are! I love you guys and making your Christmas and holiday season brighter is my joy.
So my challenge to all who read this is find a way to give and serve wherever you are and you will find joy in these acts I promise. Even sharing the Christmas story from Luke Chapter 2 is an act of service. Adults sharing and giving is a great example to their children, grand children, nieces, nephews and a God child that you can influence that may have affects for generations to come. Planting this small seed of service can affect the family, community, province, state, country and world. Who said one person can’t make a difference if we all do our part.
