A seizure are like twisted wires
In a brain that is under attack
The body is drained of strength that feel like it won’t comeback
You want to throw up and headaches make your head feel on fire.
The disease has a stigma like no other
Those who suffer from the affliction are not crazy
When we recovery from a seizure we are not lazy
Nobody truly knows but a survivor a fellow sister or brother.
There are many types of seizures
However I don’t see myself or others as victims in our journey’s
We are all victors and are not limited in who we are as we keep on learning
Being people creativity, work and sometimes leisure.
Twisted wires of the brain can be renewed from the ashes tonight
My thoughts and prayers go out to the loved one of those who suffer
When they need comfort and support which can be a great buffer
May a cure come soon so peace and a sense of relief in lives that can shine bright.
